Condolence: I manage Generation Park where Jack was working extra security for the district. I got to know Jack over the past year or so and we had many conversations about his daughters and hunting. He was an extremely hard worker and always went the extra mile to get the job done. Even as a stranger I could tell that he loved his work and his family. He often told me that the extra time he was putting in was for his girls.
Even though I was not close to Jack I can feel the impact that his life had on everyone around him. No words can provide comfort in a time like this, but please know that I feel his loss and am thinking of his family.
Condolence: Then I heard a voice from heaven say, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”
Lt. was a hard worker, dedicated family man, awesome friend and a leader. It was truly a blessing to have gotten to know Lt. Jack Giacona. He will be missed dearly.
Condolence: Jack was my brother officer but more importantly Jack was my trusted friend. We practically started out our law enforcement careers together at Pct.2, back in the 90's. I had the distinct blessing of knowing him in a close setting and I know I am a better man for having had that privilege and honor.
Tough moments and tough times call upon people to to have courage, to step up and be accounted for. My friend Jack not only knew how to do this but he led the charge and by example wrote a chapter of this book, that I saw firsthand.
Jack, what a fitting name for a man who knew how to do just about anything, truly a Jack of all trades. He helped me and so many others with just about everything under the sun, when asked. He always had time and never seemed to mind to help others and give selflessly.
He enjoyed many things, cars, motorcycles, hunting, fishing and so much more but nothing could compare to the love he had for his family. Wanna was the true love of his life and he was so proud of both of his daughters. He would frequently brag on them telling me just how proud he was of his wife and girls.
Momma Giacona, I want you to know this and hear this from me. He told me so many times, how he had a special place in his heart just for you and that he would do anything for his mother. He loved you deeply!
Wanna and family my prayers are with you, may our Lord and Savior hold you all tightly and give you his peace and comfort during your time of loss and mourning.
Bless you my friend, I will truly miss you.....we will see you again!
