Mark McGinnis
Jack was my brother officer but more importantly Jack was my trusted friend. We practically started out our law enforcement careers together at Pct.2, back in the 90's. I had the distinct blessing of knowing him in a close setting and I know I am a better man for having had that privilege and honor.
Tough moments and tough times call upon people to to have courage, to step up and be accounted for. My friend Jack not only knew how to do this but he led the charge and by example wrote a chapter of this book, that I saw firsthand.
Jack, what a fitting name for a man who knew how to do just about anything, truly a Jack of all trades. He helped me and so many others with just about everything under the sun, when asked. He always had time and never seemed to mind to help others and give selflessly.
He enjoyed many things, cars, motorcycles, hunting, fishing and so much more but nothing could compare to the love he had for his family. Wanna was the true love of his life and he was so proud of both of his daughters. He would frequently brag on them telling me just how proud he was of his wife and girls.
Momma Giacona, I want you to know this and hear this from me. He told me so many times, how he had a special place in his heart just for you and that he would do anything for his mother. He loved you deeply!
Wanna and family my prayers are with you, may our Lord and Savior hold you all tightly and give you his peace and comfort during your time of loss and mourning.
Bless you my friend, I will truly miss you.....we will see you again!
