Michael R. Nyberg Sr. (Mike), 61, of Humble, Texas was born July 4, 1960 in Beaumont, Texas to Arne J. Nyberg and Ethel Mae Elliott Nyberg and recently passed away July 13, 2021 at his home in Humble. He was a graduate of M.B. Smiley High School class of 1978 where he was a member of the Golden Eagles marching band. He was a land surveyor for over 40 years and worked for IDS Engineering Group for 28 years. Preceded in the death by his Mother and Father, Arne J. Nyberg and Ethel Mae Elliott Nyberg. Mike is survived by wife of 32 years Rhonda R. Nyberg of Humble, Texas; Sons, Michael R. Nyberg Jr. and wife, Samantha Nyberg of Dayton, Texas, Clayton E. Nyberg and wife, Allie Nyberg of Porter, Texas; granddaughter, Emerson Nyberg; Aunts, Brenda Kilgore of Pineland, Texas and Brenda Elliott of Centralia, Kansas; and numerous loving cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 5-8 pm at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter, Texas. A graveside service will be 11:00 am, Monday, July 19, 2021 at Macune Cemetery in San Augustine, Texas.
