Rudy Rivera passed away peacefully at the age of 59 and went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 15, 2021. He was born to Mary Beatrice (Rivera) Russell on July 20, 1961 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Rudy was known to his family and friends for his love of football, baseball and basketball. In addition to sports, he was also a big fan of movies and enjoyed watching television.

Rudy is survived by his wife of 9-1/2 years, Angela (Angie) Rivera and his step-son Kyle Michot. He is also survived by his sister Rachel Esparza Saenz, his brother Ray Esparza and wife Angela Esparza, his mother-in-law Judy Sanders, brother and sister-in-law Shane and Krissy Hamilton, and brother and sister-in-law Randy and Felicity Hamilton, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Rudy was preceded in death by his mother Mary Beatrice Russell.
