Obituary

William George Schupska was called to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at the age of 98. William was born to John and Hazel Schupska in Ashtabula County, Ohio on July 7, 1922.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Marjorie Louise (Doebereiner) Schupska, one of his two sons, Bill Schupska, Jr., and one of his ten grandchildren, George Lee. He is survived by his three daughters, Nellie Rice, Sally Gregory, and Doris Walther, one son, Paul Schupska, 9 grandchildren, Tammy Edwards, Kim Davis, Mike Rice, Nathaniel Martin, Amanda Lee, Billy Schupska, James Gregory, Jr., Rebecca Boyd, and Laurie Barnes, 38 great-grandchildren, and 54 great-great-grandchildren, for a total of 107 descendants.

William “Papa” Schupska served in the Navy during WWII from August 13, 1943 until December 19, 1945. Dear Pops,
Thank you for showing us your sweet, humorous and loving nature. Who knew that a meal would turn into a lifetime of friendship. May you rest in peace in heaven full of every animal your heart desires. We will remember and miss you dearly. May God received you with open arms. You leave a beautiful legacy in the loved ones you leave behind, especially Nelly.
Love Espi and Maria
