To our beloved brother, From Vangelis and Angeliki. Have a safe journey our brother, you are now gone forever and left your daughter Alexandra alone. She had really nice news for you, as she is pregnant and will give birth with your blessings and wishes. Please accept all our wishes and love and please rest in peace with all the saints. It’s so sad you are gone that early, you didn’t have the chance to became a grandpa and didn’t manage to meet and raise your grandchild. Now our parents are waiting for you in heaven. I hope you will get our message and have a peaceful rest now. We send you our best wishes and love and we are so sorry that under these circumstances we are not able to come and say our last goodbyes to you. Maybe we will all meet together sometime soon….

Obituary

Dimitrios “Takis” Kontos reposed on January 17, 2021 in Houston, Texas, his adopted hometown. He was born on March 2, 1953, in Prevenza, Greece to Alexandra and N. Kontos. He served honorably in the Greek military and immigrated to the United States at the age of 28.

Takis had a big heart and was willing to help anyone with anything. A hard worker, Takis loved his family and is survived by his daughter Alexandra, who is expecting Takis’ only grandchild, Dimitra. Other surviving relatives include his sister Kiki and her husband Vassilis, his brother Vangelis and his wife Angeliki and numerous other family and friends.
