Condolence From: Katie Alaniz
Condolence: Nearly a year ago, the world lost one of the very brightest lights with Kathy’s passing. Simultaneously, Heaven gained one of the most beautiful souls imaginable.

On this anniversary of Kathy’s passing to her eternal home with Christ, I pray for comfort, peace, hope, and a very real sense of God’s presence and love to fill the hearts and minds of all who loved Kathy so dearly and miss her so greatly.

Randy and family, I pray especially for your comfort and peace today and in the days ahead. I can only imagine how much you miss Kathy’s kind, bright, beautiful presence in your home on a daily basis, and I pray that you will find hope and joy as you reflect on countless wonderful memories of Kathy.

She was such a remarkable soul, and I look forward to the day when we will be reunited with her in the Savior’s presence.

Much love and many blessings,

Katie

Condolence: Randy and family,

Our family is so sorry to hear of the loss of your precious wife, mother, and friend. Sandy and I met her several years ago, and spent only a very short time with her. There was so much catching up to do that day, and we didn't get the opportunity to really visit with her one on one. After reading and watching her tribute, I'm amazed at what a beautiful, inspiring, and radiant person she was. Janet Dorman expressed who she was so beautifully. We pray for God's grace and love to be upon each and every one of you to give you strength and peace.

With much love to your family,

The Brewer Kids

Condolence: When I’d see that beautiful red head coming through the door at Talbots, I knew our day would be a bit brighter! Kathy (and often Jill) would light up the store. An outfit for a new job, a wedding, a cruise, a dance for Jill... I feel privileged to have shared a little of Kathy’s life. Through joy or sorrow she radiated kindness, faith and optimism.
My deepest sympathy to all of her family and friends. As much as we will miss her, we can take comfort in knowing she is home now.

Condolence: I read all of the stories about Kathy, I am so blessed to know more about her. Kathy and I get to know each other when we were classmates in Texas A&M. Then we started building our most special memories from this point. For the whole story, Randy can tell much better than I do. For me, I shared our story in Chinese with a lot of friends. I have to say, I write much better in Chinese than in English. Though Kathy and Randy always encourage me, they told me that my English is good :) Because of Kathy, I get to know Randy, Randy's family, their children, and the grandchildren. We spent wonderful time together and shared precious memories. I wrote down this, so that next time, when Randy told you so, you will believe it is true.
For everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
Now this is the time that Kathy went to be with the Lord.
But our relationship will not end until we all meet in heaven again.
Much love!
From Liyuan, Lichao and Lydia

Condolence: Kathy was my son’s inclusion teacher at Humble Elementary. I cannot forget her kindness, patience and positive attitude —not only for him, but with us as parents. She never came to a meeting without positive and constructive stories and ideas. She was one of the best teachers he ever had. I ran into her over the years at Region IV events or in the community with Jill, and she always was a shining light. She never failed to ask about Patrick either. So many will miss her deeply. My condolences to all of her families, and especially Jill.

Condolence: To Kathy’s Family:
It was both an honor and a privilege to work alongside Kathy at Region 4 ESC. She was a beautiful soul, kind, and always an inspiration to all with whom she crossed paths. I wish you all the love and peace Kathy modeled on a daily basis, and that your days are filled with an abundance of happy thoughts of your times together.

Much love, Carol McManus Barrios

Condolence: To Kathy's family,

We want to share our deepest condolences! Kathy was truly the salt and light of world that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 5:13-16. We were truly blessed to have known her. Every time we attended events at River Oak Baptist School we would find Kathy. We never had an encounter that didn't involve hugs, smiles, laughter, and an encouraging word. Thank you for sharing her with us! Be encouraged!! All the best!!

Condolence: To Kathy’s family.
I knew Kathy through years of attending Bible Study Fellowship and later years in BSF leadership together. She amazed me every time we attended BSF. She oozed the love of God and His presence and inspired me to want the same. She always had a smile and a loving kindness even when I could see she may be in pain. I can’t explain the influence and effect she had on my spiritual life. She will always be an example for me to remember in good and bad times. She will be thought of and missed. I will always remember the sound of her voice. Thank you Kathy for everything. Knowing you has been a true blessing.
