Margaret Marie Quiñones was called to her Heavenly home on January 15, 2021. She was born on June 23, 1936 in Morovis, Puerto Rico, to Marciana Colon and Dolores Ortiz.
Margaret loved having pets, cooking and being a nanny. She loved gardening, coffee and she dearly loved shoes. Margaret was a sincere and loving mother and grandmother. She was quick to forgive and always saw the best in people. She truly loved in the way Jesus did. She had strong faith in the Lord and loved attending church and singing along to the songs of worship.
Margaret is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Lizette Marie and Eduardo R. Segovia; her two granddaughters Liliana M. Segovia and Leticia N. Segovia; her great-grandson Caden J. Huston and her great-granddaughter Adelyn Arnett; and her brothers Angel Ortiz and Miguel Ortiz.
She is predeceased by her father Dolores Ortiz and her mother Marciana Colon; her husband Alejandro Quiñones; two sons, Stephen J. Silva and David S. Silva and her sister Lucy Ortiz Hantman.
Our family is so thankful and blessed to have had such a beautiful soul in our lives. Margaret’s daughter shares a verse she loves, “therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. ~ Romans 5:1”
