Janice Nell Laney, born March 31st, 1937 to Jesse and Anna Mae Colburn in Houston Texas.
Janice Nell Laney of Nacogdoches, Texas went to her heavenly home on December 16th, 2020 at the age of 83.

Billy Ray Laney, born March 4th, 1936 to Hubert and Gerthie Laney in Texarkana Texas,
Billy Ray Laney of Nacogdoches Texas went to his heavenly home on January 7th, 2021 at the age of 84.

Both are survived by their four daughters, Raynell Laney of Livingston Texas, Marilyn and Jack Johnson of Houston Texas, Billie Jo Laney Schooley of Lufkin Texas and Jackie and Randy Laird of Nacogdoches Texas. They were blessed with 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. They were preceded in death by their parents.

Janice and Billy shared a lifetime of adventure and love. Married 65 years gave them many opportunities to travel, to enjoy family, and love each other. Janice spent her life devoted to her family and her beloved animals. She enjoyed working in the yard, staying connected with friends from high school and spending time with her love, Billy.
Billy loved the outdoors. He enjoyed working on old cars and was a master at it. He loved to travel and also stayed connected with friends from high school. He was a busy man.

Billy and Janice had many loving friends and made time to attend Smiley Reunions where they loved to reminisce over high school memories. Most importantly, Billy and Janice enjoyed each other and the love they shared. It really was a true love story. They both had a life well lived.

Janice and Billy will be remembered by all for love they showed during life and in death. They are together now and rejoicing in Heaven.
