Cory Adam Essman 33, passed away December 28, 2020 in Acapulco, Mexico. Cory was born September 17, 1987 in Longview, Texas. At the time of his death he called Austin, Texas home.

Cory’s love of the outdoors lead him to pursue a job in landscaping where he would later move up to manage commercial properties as well as being a licensed irrigator. He was an avid fisherman, guitar enthusiast and he loved hiking, usually on other people’s property. He lived life to the fullest always looking for his next adventure. He loved his family, his friends and his life.

Cory is survived by his mother Terry Lee Franks of Kerrville, Tx, and parents Kenneth Roy and Shannon Essman of Gary, Tx. Sisters Brittanie Martin and Kendra Essman, brother Kenneth Wayne and wife Kendall Essman. Grandfather Roy and wife Jean Essman, grandfather Eugene Fink, and grandmother Betty Miller. Nephew Wyatt Hudgens and niece McKenzie Hudgens as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and too many friends to count.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday January 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Rosewood Funeral Home in Humble, Tx. 2602 South Houston Ave, Humble TX 77396.
