He was always ready to attend an Astros’ game with his children in the Astrodome or Minute Maid Park. He was a kind and loving man, a man of few words, as well as a devoted father and grandfather, who made sure that his family always had what they needed.
B-Boy is preceded in death by his parents, Petronio and Lucy Silva and his siblings, Petronio Silva, Jr., Ray Silva, and Hilda Bautista. He is survived by his former wife, Mary Silva, their children Stephen Silva, his wife, Susan Nesser Silva; Lisa Silva Becerra, her husband Moses Becerra, grandchildren Luke Silva, Aaron Becerra, and Emma Becerra; Michael Silva, his wife Yrayda Lopez-Silva, grandchildren Joaquin Silva, and Dean Silva; and Philip Silva, his wife Juanita Montoya-Silva, and grandchildren Beatrice Silva, Florentina Silva and Petronio Silva. He is also survived by his sister, Estrilla Carlos and her husband Johnny Carlos.

A funeral mass will follow on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 10:00 am at St Juan Diego Catholic Church, 3301 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena, TX. B-Boy’s final resting place will be at Brookside Cemetery in Houston, TX, with those services to be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate memorial donations be made in their father’s name to Apraxia-kids.org or your local public school education foundation.
