Condolence From: Dwayne Vernon
Condolence: Gail & Family, Our hearts go out to you and your family for the loss of this Great Man!
It is hard to express just exactly my feelings towards Coach Winfield. As a freshman fb player at MacArthur he was our head freshman coach. Making the transition from Junior High to High School was easy. Mostly because of Coach Jon Winfield. He was an awesome coach!! He could get on to you about something you did wrong and make you feel good about it !! From that year on it all got even better. 50 plus years and he is still in our hearts. God Bless you and your Family.

Condolence From: David Van Langen
Condolence: My heart is broken-- but I thank God I knew this wonderful man !! That half smile/ half smirk ! One of the main things that stands out-- He always treated us like people and not the dumb kids we probably were-- My kids also had the privilege of having him as a teacher and coach !!! Love to the Winfield Family

Condolence: Jon Winfield was a super person and there isn't anyone who will forget that contagious laugh/grin. You almost wondered what he had up his sleeve...either poking fun at you or pulling a little prank on you.
Gail and boys, he will be missed by alot of people and most of all by you and your families.
May the Peace of The Lord be with you all.
Thanks Coach!!!!
