Obituary for Gloria Gutierrez (Garza)

Gloria was such a happy, fun, loving, kind and generous person to everyone she met. She always had a smile on her face. Her family meant the world to her. She was always with her kids. She loved going to her grandkids football, baseball, soccer, softball, volleyball games and tennis matches. She loved watching her granddaughter in the orchestra and her grandson in the marching band. She was a very active and competitive person. She used to bowl and play tennis. She was a huge sports fan. She loved to watch her Houston Astros, Houston Rockets and Houston Texans, oh and those Dallas Cowboys. She loved to mow her lawn and plant flowers. On birthdays and moments of just because, she loved baking cakes for family and friends. She was passionate about worshipping God, listening to gospel music (KSBJ was her favorite radio station) and volunteering at her Church. Gloria was loved by so many people. We were so blessed to have an angel here on earth. Her presence will be missed dearly but her memory will be in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Gutierrez, children Renee/Kirk Hein of Katy, Texas, Celia Gomez of Houston, Texas, Ignacio Martinez of Deer Park, Texas, Delma/Jonathan McEvoy Sr. of LaPorte, Texas, Minerva Gutierrez of Pasadena, Texas, and Joe Gutierrez of Pasadena, Texas. Grandkids: Meagan Gomez, JC Villa, Jonathan McEvoy Jr., Ashton McEvoy, Austin Hein, Jessie Gutierrez, Gavin McEvoy and Kaitlin Martinez. Great-grandson: Charlie Villa

As there will be no graveside service, limiting flowers is suggested. In lieu of flowers, a fund for Gloria's mounting medical expenses has been set up. Please copy the Go Fund Me link below and paste in a new browser. Checks are also accepted. Please make check payable to Renee Hein. Thank you so much for your generous donation.
