Obituary for Terry Lee Liles

Terry Lee Liles
Terry L. Liles, 73, passed away Saturday, September 19th, 2020 at his home in Humble, TX.

Born August 3, 1947 in Forney, Texas, he was the first son of the late Terrell and Leola Liles.
Terry graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1965 and enlisted into the United States Army soon after his graduation. He served from 1965-1968 throughout the Vietnam War era, honorably discharging in 1968. He also met the future love of his life in 1968 while working for the Pentagon in Washington D.C. and moonlighting at the local Kentucky Fried Chicken. Beadie was working for the US government at that time and happened to be moonlighting at the KFC as well. And that is where the journey began! He then married his wife Beadie in 1970, they decided to move to Houston, TX and that is where they would raise their family. Terry and Beadie are the proud parents of four boys; TJ, Todd, Toby & Troy.
Terry was a kind, loving husband to his wife, a proud loving father to his four children and a wonderful, caring Peepaw to all of his grandchildren. Terry loved his family dearly and would give all his time, love and support to each and every one of them as much as he could. Its safe to say that his family was his life and he cherished that. But Terry also cherished the many friendships that he made throughout his life and everybody that knew him cherished his love and friendship as well.
Terry has always enjoyed spending time with his entire family, he loved sports, researching his family ancestry, hanging out on the back porch birdwatching and being faithful to the Catholic Church where he departs this life as a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus. His love for everyone was unconditional and this is something we will cherish from his character – and take with us forever. His kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing this great man.

Terry is survived by: his wife, Beadie, son TJ, his wife Shelly, their two children Leyton & Sydney, his son Toby, his son Troy, his wife Jamie and their children Emma, Blake & Colin, his brothers Bobby, Bruce, Linn, and his sisters Cheryl and Debra. Terry was also preceded in death by his son Todd Charles Liles.
Terry was very generous, friendly, fun loving, honest, respectful, loyal and a joy to spend time with. These qualities he not only held in high esteem but practiced them every day during his time here on this earth. Terry was respected and admired by everyone that knew and loved him. We will all miss him dearly.
Rest in peace Terry as you take your seat at the right hand of the lord and as you become an Angel continue to watch over all of us as you always have. We will love you always.
