Condolences

Condolence From: Rhonda (Wait, Baby Bubble)
Condolence: On behalf of the V&H Sapphire Dragon Guild on US 1 Server, the game that Cardqueen loved and lived, we offer our sincere condolences to everyone whom knew her. She was a part of our guild family there and her spirit will live on within us. Grateful that our paths have crossed.

Condolence From: Steve S (Leeroy Jenkins
Condolence: My heart aches. I have known CQ for about 10 years having started playing with her in Lord of Ages. moving to V&H with her, and other "Veterans" we found a new home in V&H. She was always, kind, thoughtful, and caring, helping everyone that she came across. Although my Gaming in V&H slowed, We stayed in contact, till just last week. There will always be a special place in my Heart for You Gail, (Card Queen). I will miss you terribly. Rest in Peace, my dear dear friend...

Condolence From: Annie (Nenya)
Condolence: Dan (Uther) and I (Nenya), among many, many others in our online, Villagers and Heroes family, all adored Gail, our Cardqueen, she was a long-time friend to so many of us and will be deeply missed.

Our heartfelt sympathy to Gail's family and friends. I see now that her warmth and kindness was not exclusive to those of us who knew her online, but also very much who she truly was in every aspect of her real life as well. Her positive energy bubbled over online to the point we easily forgot that we didn't know her in person. Many of us spent hours pondering various matters with her, giggling over things we found funny (I loved her infectious laugh, it never failed to brighten the mood), and discussing our lives and family.

We are very grateful for the opportunity to show our love for Gail with the link to the service, allowing us to virtually attend.

God bless you all xx

Condolence From: Brian (Andral)
Condolence: In V&H, we know Gail as a loving, helpful, welcoming, inviting, and friendly co-adventurer (and sometimes our babysitter). Rarely do online gamers get to speak with each other in real life. And, even more rarely for the online community to get a glimpse into our friends' real environs (or they into ours). Watching her service made it clear that she was known in real life the same way we saw her. I'm also pleased to hear that her friends and family have had the opportunity to see how rich an experience she had within our community. The hours focused on the computer were fulfilling - both for her and for those of us who had the privilege to know her. She will be missed. All hail CardQueen.

Condolence From: Jennifer and Dan
Condolence: Our sincerest condolences on the passing of Gail. She was a great neighbor and she did so much for our community. We always enjoyed bumping into her around the neighborhood and sharing a fun story or just catching up. She was such an enjoyable, entertaining person. We are going to miss her.

Condolence From: Debbie "Rizzo"
Condolence: Sending my deepest condolences to Gail's "CardQueen" family.

CQ always brought a bright spot into my day when she would announce "Hello World" in her purple crayon. Over the past few months we had the chance to get to know each other better sharing bits of our personal life. CQ welcomed my daughters and I into her guild with open arms, giving help as needed and just sharing fun. I will always cherish getting to know her and will keep her always near my heart.

My love and prayers go out to her family.

Condolence From: Joyce Asmus
Condolence: Gail was a beloved DZ sister at Drake University. She was full of fun, and always had another escapade to plan. She was also a good listener, and helped many of us pledges with the angst of life away from home. She will be missed.

Condolence From: Angel "Aliassam"
Condolence: I still cant believe shes gone. I pray for all of Gails family members. they know how special she was as welll do many many villagers & heros members. I have called her many times. once was to ask her did she want a waffle as my family was at waffle house. lol she got a kick out of that and we laughed about it online in world chat as well. when i 1st talked to her on the ohone she had went to help a V&H member as he was having a operation and she went there to help him. such a fine and caring person she was. I could tell her most anything as i also have alot of health problems. I didnt have to worry that she would tell everyone my problems. i have known her online every since she 1st came to our game. she was a great player. she was one that u would ask to come help with a big boss cause she had a great toon. she was smart. she fitted that toon out perfect. (which i cant do alone) lol. yes i will surely miss her. i dont think i can take her phone # or her toon name off my list yet. I knew she was sick but i thought she was getting better. its been right b4 the pandemic since i called her. I sure wish i had now. loved her funny wit. theres so much more i could say about this special person. God bless Gail Lord and keep her with u i pray. God bless the real family and the V&H family that knew her. yes she will be mightily be missed . Sigh! Good night Cardqueen
