Condolence: I did not have the privilege of knowing Pastor Powell or his lovely family. However, as a believer and a member of God's family, I felt compelled to express my heartfelt sorrow for your loss. It is at times like this, we don't understand why and truthfully, the why wouldn't be enough. We will continue to serve, follow and trust. I do know that God's love is enough to sustain. I will continue to pray for your beautiful family.
Condolence: Katherine, I work at NAMB and we just found out about your husband's tragic accident and his selfless act that saved another person's life. From everything I've read about him, that seems to be the kind of man he was. What an incredible testimony he left behind. I wish I could have met him. I really wish I could reach out and hug you and the kids. I know your heart is broken and your world is upside down right now, but I pray that Jesus will hold you so close that you can feel His heart beating for you. You are in my prayers. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. Blessings and much love, Debbie McCutchen
Condolence: Katherine, my heart has been breaking for you and your sweet kids! I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Sending so much love and prayers to you
Condolence: We love John and the extended Powell family. Saints around the world are praying for you, wishing we could lighten the burden of your hurt by sharing in it and weeping with you. We can't know your hurt but God knows. God's comfort and peace passes human understanding.(Phil 4:7) "Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning." (Ps 30:5) The thot
of John's joy in meeting his Savior gives us joy, and the certain Hope that we believers will see him again, along with all those he led to Jesus.
