Doris June  Willson (Walton)
Doris June Walton-Willson was born on November 1, 1932, in Wichita Falls, Texas to Daisy Beatrice Thomas and Gerard Ray Walton. She married Jimmie Willson, the love of her life on June 5th, 1953. Doris graduated from Rice University in Houston, Texas in 1954. She lived out her career as a church secretary at Watters Road Church of Christ in Pasadena, Texas. She loved her faith in Christ and enjoyed revolving her life around God and members of her church.

Together, Doris and Jimmie had three children, Jim, Kay, and Dan. Doris had nine grandchildren, Jill, Jimmy, Tommy, Holly, Wendy, Jason, JR, Jesse, and Savannah. Twelve great-grandchildren followed, whom she loved immensely.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents Daisy and Gerard Walton, husband Jimmie Willson, brothers Ray and Tommy Walton, son Dan Willson and grandson Jimmy Kellough.

Doris spent the last six years of her life in Granger, Texas enjoying the outdoors, boating, her cats, feeding the farm animals, and spending time with her family. She was selfless, loving, and always lent a helping hand. She will always be missed and loved dearly.

After living a long and fulfilled life, Doris passed peacefully on July 12th, 2020 in Granger, Texas. A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday July 25th at Forest Park Cemetery in Webster, Texas. Her viewing is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday July 24th at Rosewood Funeral Home in Pasadena, Texas.
