Porter- Barbara Allen McLemore Fisher, a long-time resident of Porter Texas, passed away Tuesday the 23rd of June at home.

She was born on June 25, 1935 in Henderson, Texas, to parents Flemons Harrison McLemore and Martha Walden McLemore. Barbara married at a young age and had 8 children. They were her life and then grandchildren and great grandchildren became everything she lived for.

She is survived by 7 of her children. Daniel Robison, Edward Fisher, Judith Elmer, James Clay, Diane Hines, Kathy Villa and Margie Vian. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Rodney Fisher. She is also survived by 2 sisters: Pat Wadkins and Ina Jo Phillips and 1 brother, James McLemore, and 22 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and various generations of nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life begins with the viewing on Sunday June 28th between 2-5 PM at Rosewood Funeral Home 2602 S. Houston Ave. Humble Texas. The service will be Monday June 29th at 12:00 PM at Rosewood Funeral Home (same as above) with following graveside service at 2:00 PM at Brookside Memoral Park located @ 13747 Eastex FWY Houston, Texas. Reception to follow at the home of Robert and Diane Hines located at 19149 Timberland Blvd. Porter, Texas 77365.
