Sumner Lineberry “Granny” Tripp, 81, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 at her home in Porter, TX surrounded by family. She was born on May 25, 1939 in Greensboro, North Carolina to Walter Percy Lineberry and Myrtle Evelyn Bozeman who both precede her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Archie Tripp in 2014, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Granny loved God and her family more than anything and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Cindy Fuller and husband Carl, Jesse and Peggy Tripp, Michael and Yolanda Tripp, Joseph Tripp; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; numerous other family members and a host of loving friends.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Rosewood Funeral Home Humble, Texas. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 noon with Jesse Tripp officiating. Graveside services will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
