Condolences

Condolence From: Carol Schafer
Condolence: I knew Lendell for 42 years. I worked for two if his companies a total of 17 years. He and Lawanna were very precious to me. In 1984 we went to Greece for 14 days and had a once in a lifetime trip. I went to many singings where he had many famous people attend and had a beautiful place for all to stay. He was a gracious host with his blessings. He was not ashamed to tell people about the Lord and what God had done in his life. I will miss my birthday and Christmas phone calls. I loved them both and will miss them dearly.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Martin a few years ago through a unique series of events that could be considered “Divine” intervention. After that day my life has not quite been the same. Through his wisdom, knowledge, humility and grace, he encouraged me to reach down inside and expand my limits to become a better business man, leader and human being. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends and a very big Thank you to Mr. Martin!

Condolence: I'll never forget meeting Pop and experiencing his hospitality at the ranch over the years. Most of all, I'll remember him sharing words of wisdom as he drove me around the ranch in the little pickup (with the hole in the windshield!) and told me some stories. He even took me hunting with him in HIS stand!

It was a joy to hear his poems and to get to accompany his harmonica playing with a guitar. Most of all, it blessed me to see his boldness as a Christian. We are all richer for having known him!

Condolence: Lendell was truly an inspiration in my life and the lives of so many others. He was a child of the Great Depression that rose to the highest level in HVAC industry. He lived the American Dream. He provided opportunities for people to better themselves and their families. He was the most dedicated, hardest working individual I ever met. He earned the respect of others through his desire to achieve and grow, never satisfied with the status quo. He was innovative and resourceful. He was a tenacious businessman, Christian, poet, musician, artist, mentor, benefactor and friend.
To his Family, my sincere condolences and hope that you find comfort in knowing that he is once again united with the love of his life, Lawanna.
I am so honored to have known and worked with him.

Condolence: Mr Lendell was a gifted, hard working man, but also a caring, loving family man and a friend to many people. He and his family, through our business relationship had a great deal of influence on me and contributed greatly to our company’s success. But more than that, he also cared deeply for the folks he did business with, his customers, his employees, and even former employees and associates. His way of treating people had an influence on all of us. His passing will leave a hole in the HVAC industry that will not easily be filled. To the Martin family, please accept my sincere condolences for your great loss. And from all of the team here at Lobell Sales, please know what a huge help he was to us over many years, and that he will never be forgotten
