Obituary for Johnny Lee Mason

Johnny Lee Mason

Johnny Lee Mason was born on May 12, 1944, in Rena Lara, Mississippi to Clarence and Georgia Mason. Johnny worked as a plant manager at Anheuser-Busch for almost 30 years. As a teenager he attended Booker T. Washington High School in Memphis, Tennessee where he enjoyed playing baseball. After high school Johnny attended technical college in Milwaukee where he became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Johnny would eventually marry his loving wife Patricia Mason. They were married for 51 years and had two daughters. In addition to baseball Johnny loved to fish. He liked to saltwater fish, but his heart belonged to fresh water fishing. Throughout his life he traveled from Texas to Tennessee to Florida and many other places to compete in bass tournaments with the Anheuser-Busch fishing team. Johnny was truly happy out on the lake sitting in his boat with a rod and reel in hand. Johnny is survived by his wife Patricia Mason, his daughters Tricia Mason and Irish Mason, and his grandson Christian Sigler. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Georgia Mason and his grandson Patrick Mason.

We, the family of Johnny Mason, wish to express our gratitude to family and friends for your many acts of kindness, concern, and love shown during the illness of our loved one and our bereavement. Your thoughtfulness will remain in our hearts. We request the continuation of prayers and that God blesses you in a mighty way. In lieu of flowers we request that a donation be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in honor of the memory of Johnny Mason.
