Donna Eleanor Winter, 75, passed away peacefully in Kingwood, Texas on Sunday, May 3, 2020. She was born on October 19, 1944 to Edward Carmody and Vera Riddell Carmody in Port Huron, MI. She was an amazing mom to everyone who knew her and if you ever crossed her threshold, you were a member of the family. She would love you fiercely and smack you upside the head if you needed it. Donna adored her family especially her children and grandchildren.
She married Herbert E. Winter in 1966 and was a 46-year resident of Kingwood, Texas.
Being home with her children as they were growing up was important to Donna. She was able to accomplish that by creating beautiful ceramics that she sold to local retail outlets. As her daughters grew up, she bloomed into an extraordinary sales woman in the beauty and optical industry. Donna also never passed up an opportunity to go to Las Vegas with her girlfriends. She was an amazing soul and we are all the luckier for having known her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Vera Carmody; husband, Herb; sister, Gerry and brother, Jack.
Donna is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Winter Levanduski and Keri Winter; son-in-law, Roger Levanduski; grandchildren, Brayden and Blake; siblings, Ted Carmody and Mary Jo Carmody.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at 12 noon, Friday, May 8, 2020 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Atascocita with Deacon Nick Caruso officiating.
