The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Richard Mobley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

The Gift of Opportunity

I had the great privilege of meeting Rick and Stacy through a story they were featured in for the Texas A & M Foundation. They had planned a gift to support the university's College of Architecture. As I'm sure you (as family and friends) know, Rick was proud of his Aggie education, loved his career and had a heart for helping others. As editor of the magazine, I had many interactions with Rick leading up to the story's publish date. He was so excited about this story and the impact his and Stacy's gift would have in the future. The printed magazine mailed late last week, so I'm not sure Rick ever had the chance to see his story in print. However, I thought it would be nice to share with all of you as an opportunity to honor Rick's life and his cheerful giver spirit. Here is a link to the article: https://cdn.txamfoundation.com/Publications/Spirit%20of%20Sharing/SpiritofSharing_Spring-2020_Digital-Reduced.pdf (Rick and Stacy's story is on page 12). There's no doubt in my mind that Rick is wearing maroon in heaven right now, greeting old Aggie loved ones with a "Gig 'em!" and a bright smile.
