Doris Marie Brown, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 22, 2020.

In 1947 she married the love of her life, Richard Horton Brown. They shared 66 years of love and happiness before Richard's death in 2013. They had known each other since sixth grade but only began dating after he served in the Navy during WWII.

Doris was a member of the Sons of Hermann and Edelweis Lodge #7. She was a devoted mother and a stay at home mom.

Doris is survived by their two children, daughter Janet Carol Broughton and husband James Leon Broughton; son Richard Wayne Brown and wife Devri Lane Brown. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Richard Wayne Brown Jr, Jaime Marie Morris and husband Jason, Nicholas Ryan Brown and wife Julia, James Leon Broughton Jr and wife Toni, Jason Wayne Broughton and husband Michael Storino, and Domani Kay Ann Zefeldt and husband Wayne. She is also survived by her 10 great grandchildren, Austin Richard Brown, Jillian Marie Morris, Colton Jones, Cora Ann Zefeldt, Carter Wayne Brown, Zoe Lane Zefeldt, Jackson Richard Morris, Amelia Kay Zefeldt, Teagan Grace Broughton, and Nicholas Remington Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Shriners Hospital for Children in honor of Doris Marie Brown
