Prior to this, Dorothy had started an organization named “TNT”, “Tried ’n True”, at the church. Dorothy led this group from its inception in1987, but retired as their president about 9 years ago, but continued to attend. Both also received letters from the bishop of the Methodist Church. She had been an active leader in the Methodist Youth Fellowship. Dorothy was active as a Cub Scout leader with her three sons. Matthew 5:15-16 New International Version (NIV)
Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
