Obituary for John Wright Flournoy Jr.

John W. Flournoy Jr was born June 26, 1944 in Weldon, Tx. He passed away on February 12, 2020 in Pasadena, TX. In high school John was a cheerleader at C.E. King high school.
He served in the army from 1966 to 1968. John worked as a draftsman, a real estate agent and an LVN. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing and his children and his grandson. John was preceded in death by his loving wife Glenda, his beloved son Jeff, and his parents J.W. Flournoy Sr and wife Lavon. John is survived by his daughter Elizabeth, son David and grandson David Cameron. He is also survived by his sister Charlotte and husband Chuck Frisch, one brother Larry Flournoy as well as numerous extended family. John had a deep love for animals, he deeply loved his dog Jennifer, his constant companion, since the passing of his wife in 2017. A viewing/visitation will be held at 10am Tuesday, February 18, 2020 followed by a graveside service at noon. Rosewood Funeral home, 2602 S. Houston Ave, Humble, Tx. 77396
