Obituary for
Preston Jay Young
Preston died unexpectedly on February 3, 2020 at the age of 25. He was born July 17, 1994 in Watertown, New York, to Joe and Katherina Young.
He grew up in Dayton where he played baseball, football, and soccer in the Youth leagues, where he made many lifelong friends. He moved to Atascocita in 2003 and continued to play sports in the school and Select baseball programs, where he made many more friends. He loved being the life of the party; he always wanted to make everyone laugh. But he would drop anything to help a friend. He also loved to weld or any kind of work that involved using your hands and brain. He was the ultimate perfectionist. In high school, he found the love for welding and after high school, he went to TSTC Waco to further his knowledge of it. At the time of his death, he was a welder UTLX following his dream.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, T.R. Thomas.
