Obituary for Gail Lairmore

Gail Lairmore
Gail Lairmore was born in Johnstown, PA on April 26th, 1937 and passed away peacefully at the age of 82 on January 12th, 2020 in New Braunfels, TX. She graduated from Pasadena High school in 1955 and continued on to work in revenue accounting with Continental Airlines for 34 years. During her tenure, she enjoyed
traveling and meeting new faces. She met the love of her life, Lee Lairmore, and they were married on August 19th, 1955, and had two beautiful children, Darrell and Terri. They enjoyed going on family camping trips and traveling together. Once Gail became a grandmother, she was forever known as Memom. She loved spending
her time with her family playing card games, watching Fox News, and learning from her granddaughters how to use an IPad. She was a member with First Baptist Church in Pasadena, and in the days where she wasn’t able to attend, she would live stream on her IPad. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. The last Christmas that she spent with us was spent enjoying our traditional Christmas Eve breakfast and Christmas Eve party. We will forever cherish the memories of Christmases we had with her, and hold on dearly to all of our unique
moments we each shared with our beloved Memom, mother, wife, and friend.

Gail is proceeded in death by her parents, Charles and Edith Bender, Sister Geraldine Chance, and great granddaughter Anni Rogers. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lee Lairmore; son and wife, Darrell and Debbie Lairmore; Daughter and husband, Terri and Terry Bowen; Granddaughters, Amber and husband Michael Wiedner; Jordan Bowen; Kendall Bowen and fiancé Jacob Smith; Brittany and husband Justin Rogers; Grandson Bobby and wife Brittany Powell; seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, hospice, and staff at Resolute Hospital, for their devoted care and kind and loving support. Gail went home to Jesus peacefully surrounded by her family.
