Francis Eugene "Frank" Monheiser
Frank E. Monheiser, 76, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 in Houston, Texas. Frank was born on July 3, 1943 in Sterling, Colorado to Pete and Florence Monheiser who both precede him in death. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1961-1964. Frank then went to work at Frontier Airlines in Colorado and then on to Houston where he worked and retired from Continental/United Airlines.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Doris J. Monheiser; children, Brian Monheiser, Mandy Monheiser, Stacey Traylor and husband Glenn, Latricia Williams and husband Lindon; grandchildren, Grant Monheiser, Kaine Smith, Samantha Monheiser, Nicole and Collin Traylor, Lindsey and Lane Williams, who all proudly called him Papa; sister, Sharon Lechman and husband Greg, brother Bill Monheiser and wife Delores, sister Lois Reddick and husband William; numerous other family members and a host of loving friends.

Frank enjoyed building, constructing and repairing anything for his family, was always the family photographer and cherished volunteering at his and Doris’ home church – Northeast Houston Baptist Church and Farrington Mission in Houston. Frank and Doris love their beloved church family, especially those dear friends in their life group. He was always lending a hand and admiring his grandchildren in all their activities.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Rosewood Funeral Home Atascocita. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 13, 2019 at Northeast Houston Baptist Church, 18000 W. Lake Houston Pkwy., Atascocita, TX 77346. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2019 at Wheat Cemetery in Millican, TX where the US Navy will conclude the burial with a Military Service Honors Ceremony in recognition of Frank’s service to our great country.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Farrington Mission Houston http://www.nehbc.com/FarringtonDonation where Frank proudly volunteered with his wife Doris and their church family.
