Obituary for Graham Barrington Freeman

A memorial service for Graham Barrington Freeman, 22, of Houston, will be held at Strawbridge United Methodist Church in Kingwood at 3pm on November 30, 2019, with the Rev. Beth Chenault officiating.

Graham passed away on November 20, 2019, at his home in Houston with his girlfriend by his side. He was born on November 4, 1997, in Longview, Texas, to parents Donald Bryan and Andrea Keist (Freeman). He was attending the University of Houston, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. From the start of his life, Graham was always filled with good spirit, laughter, and fun. He was compassionate and kind, and always willing to support those around him.

Graham possessed endless amounts of curiosity, always learning and loving every minute of it. He enjoyed watching documentaries on all subjects imaginable, spewing random facts for the benefit of others, just ask Taylor :)

His entrepreneurial spirit and business network brought many friends, near and far, into his life. Always optimistic and goal-oriented, he thrived on finding creative ways to work towards his ‘mailbox money’, as he put it. From Yeezy shoes, Supreme Bogos, to limited edition holiday Starbucks cups, Graham knew how to make a dollar…or a couple thousand.

While in college Graham developed a love for travelling. He visited several countries in the past couple of years and had plans to spend the upcoming Christmas holidays travelling through Italy with Taylor.
His kindness and generosity will live on in all those he loved, his friends and family. Let’s never forget Graham and his huge heart.

He is survived by his parents, Bryan Freeman and Andrea Keist, of Kingwood; sister, Emily Freeman and his girlfriend of six years, Taylor Almendarez, along with numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards a scholarship fund in Graham’s name to The University of Houston College of Engineering program.
