Dolly Joyce (Eubanks) Bingham died on November 22, 2019 in Conroe, Texas. She was born in San Antonio on January 22, 1931 to Sam Houston Eubanks and Fannie (Kerby) Eubanks. She married Sterling Bingham on July 5, 1952. They were married for 62 years until his death in 2014.

Dolly received a secretarial degree from Durham’s Business College and spent most of her career working as a Scientific Document Specialist for GE’s Space Division at NASA. She took great pride in her contributions to the space program. One of her favorite memories was being invited to the Mission Control Center to observe an Apollo launch. Her strong work ethic was recognized by GE in 1984 when she was the recipient of a “One-in-a-Thousand” award.

She loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and a sharp wit. Dolly was a member of the First Baptist Church of Webster and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed traveling, reading, crossword puzzles, embroidery, trivia, and football. She enjoyed technology and eagerly adopted new devices.

She is survived by her son Mark Bingham and his wife Heather, her daughter Wanda Jennings and her husband Scott, her grandchildren Shelley Burge, Sherry Harris, Samantha Burge, Rob Thompson, Rich Clapp, and their spouses, and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Sterling Bingham, her daughters Cynthia Bingham and Audrey Burge, her parents Sam and Fannie Eubanks, and her four brothers Claude, Melvin, Huard, and Andy Eubanks.
