Sandra Lee Hedges
July 22, 1949 – November 15, 2019

Sandra Lee Hedges, 70, of Humble, passed away on November 15, 2019 in Humble. She was born on July 22, 1949 in Victoria, Texas to parents, D. K. and Pattye Hedges. Sandra worked as an executive secretary for S.A.M office furniture and went on to retire from logistics. She was a lifelong Christian and genuinely enjoyed teaching children about the love of Christ; she taught in children’s church for 20+ years at Deerbrook Baptist Church. Sandra also earned numerous certificates for furthering her teaching in Christian development.

Survivors include son, Michael Clear and family; mother, Pattye Hedges; sisters, Sue Kelley and husband William and Sharon Jones and husband Ron, and their son, Ron Jr. and wife Caroline and son, Keith, and grandson, Callum; nephew, Joshua and wife Marlo; niece, Jennifer and husband Brandon and their daughter, Arielle; nephew, Chris and wife Kim and their children, Blake and Faythe; aunt, Robbye Lee; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Sandra is preceded in death by her father, D. K. "Red" Hedges; uncle, Julius "PawPaw" Lee; infant cousin, Julie Anne Lee; and aunts, Barbara Echols and husband Charles, Beepo Fink, and Joyce Wilson and husband Hoopy and her grandparents.

Sandra will be escorted to her final resting place by pallbearers: Josh Kelley, Ron Jones, Keith Jones, Chris Kelley, Brandon LeBlanc, Pat Lee, Matt Lindsey, and Heath Sumrow.

The family would like to thank the Hospice at SE Texas ER & Hospital and the home healthcare workers from Star Home Healthcare for the wonderful care they bestowed on Sandra. Thank you is not enough; you are forever in our hearts.
