Cynthia Ann Forsythe (Harbour)
Cynthia was born on January 15, 1936 in Aransas Pass, TX to Ray and Loura Harbour and passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2019 at her home in Humble, TX. She was 83 years young. She is survived by her sister Lana Nance and husband Scott of Austin, TX, sister in law Lucille Lemley of North Shore, TX, son Michael Forsythe and wife Donna of Cypress, TX, daughter Karen Austin and husband Mitchell of Huffman, TX, grandchildren Teri Austin of Spring, TX, Stephanie Freeman and husband Daniel of Humble, TX, and great-grandchildren Myles and Tytus Freeman of Humble, TX and numerous nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her daughter Terri Lea Forsythe, husband Aiden Owen Forsythe, parents Ray and Loura Mae Harbour and numerous other family members.
Her hobbies were traveling, painting and golfing all across our nation and the world. She has traveled to 17 different countries. She attended Cedar Bayou School District and graduated from Cedar Bayou High School in 1954. She won many awards and trophies in high school for cheerleading, basketball, table tennis and was an avid bowler. She attended Lee College. She was a housewife, a mother, a grandmother and a great grandmother.
After 3 years of painting lessons she started teaching and became a successful teacher in oils. She received many awards and certifications throughout a 50 year career. She loved to play golf in which she won many awards and championships, also traveling across the nation and the world playing the game. In her later years, she continued to teach painting classes in her home and at the Crosby Community Center. She will be missed by many.
