Obituary for Joseph Crockett Arnold

Joseph Crockett Arnold, 72, of Crockett (Houston) TX, passed away October 16, 2019 in Shenandoah, Texas. He was born on October 9, 1947 in Austinville, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Lawrence and Golda Ella Delp Arnold; grandparents, Peter and Mary Ella Delp, and William and Miriam Arnold; brothers, William L. Arnold Jr., James J. Arnold, and infant brother; and sisters, Jean Delp Cabiness, Thelma Ruth Cumbie, Mary Agnes Mullins, and Wanda Lee Abner. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Carolyn E. Arnold ; son, Jason L. Arnold; daughter in law Melissa R. Arnold; and grandson Jasper M. Arnold; nieces, Teresa G. Cabiness, Mary E. Archibald, Deborah Calle, Sandra M. Mullins, and Pamela G. Peska; and nephews, William H. Mullins, J. Wayne Mullins, and Berkley "Chip" A. Cumbie III. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd, there will be a viewing from 10 -11am at Crossroads Fellowship - 12110 East Sam Houston Parkway N. Houston, TX 77044
The memorial service will immediately follow beginning at 11am.
His graveside service will be held at the Houston National Cemetery - 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive Houston, TX 77038 on Wednesday October 23rd at 1:30pm.

In lieu of flowers we ask that you would consider a gift to Carolyn Arnold to help with expenses during this difficult time. Any excess funds will be donated to St. Jude's Children's research Hospital.
