Obituary for Brenda Jo Everett (Johnson)

Brenda Jo Everett (Johnson)
Brenda was born on September 8, 1963 in San Antonio, TX to Oleta and Bobby Johnson. She was the third child of five kids.
In 1970 the family moved to Arkansas. She was very active in cheerleading during her entire school career in Benton and Stuttgart, and graduated from Stuttgart High School in 1982.
She started her career at Riceland Foods in the Accounts Receivable Department. Brenda married in 1984 and a year later welcomed her first son, Dustin. Six years later she was blessed with her second son Brandon, and the family move to Houston shortly there after.
In Houston, she worked for Enron until 2001. She continued her successful career at Exel Global Logistics. Brenda earned many awards during her professional life. Most recently, she worked at Single Point Capital where she won Employee of the Year in 2018.
On March 28, 1998, Brenda married Ernie Everett. She gained a daughter, Jennifer and a third son, Clay. In 1999, the excited couple added their youngest son, Jake, to their already happy family. She loved to cheer and support her children in band, baseball, FFA and many other activities. One of her favorite things to do was watching her sons show their animals, but not necessarily going to the barn to feed them.
One of her happiest roles was to be a GiGi to her grandchildren, JC and Sage. She collected many pictures of her family and had recently started scrapbooking.
Brenda’s days started with her devotionals, phone calls to one or both sisters, and a large Sprite from Sonic.
All who knew her will miss her beautiful smile and hearty laugh!
