Jerry Wayne Morgan, 80 of New Caney passed away August 26, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Jerry was born July 23, 1939 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Andy and Jessie Mae Morgan. Jerry is preceded in death by two brothers, J. L. Morgan and Billy Morgan. He is survived by his wife; Joyce Morgan, children; Joe Charles Morgan & wife Leah, Patsy Wallace & husband Jack, Jerry Don Morgan & wife Angela, Tammy Kratz & husband Jimmy, Curtis Evans & wife Cindy, Carol Bunch & husband David, Nancy McCleskey & husband Roland, Janet Mixx & husband Richard, 23 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, sister; Lafern Wilkins, and brother Ross Morgan. Jerry served as a supply Sergeant and a Sharpshooter in the Army. He received two Good Conduct medals and two Bronze Service Stars for serving in the Vietnam War. He served at the Porter VFW Post 4816 as Post Commander and Quartermaster. He made many friends whom he loved while there.
