Robert Wayne Starcher, 55, of Porter, TX went to be with his Lord on July 17, 2019. He was born on December 30, 1963 in Barberton, Ohio. Robert was selfless and generous with others. He was a volunteer fire fighter in his early 20s at the Northside "Lauder Road" Firehouse, then worked for over 18 years at Transway Trucking to provide for his family. All the while, he served as the best father figure he knew how to be to his nephews Jason, Matthew, Shawn,and Samuel, Jr., and his niece Wendy.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Kindler Starcher and his sister, Wanda Marie Platt.
He is survived by: Father, Coy Eugene Starcher; Brother, Rodney Eugene Starcher; Sister, Virginia Kay Zisson (Peter); Brother, Glen Dale Starcher; Sister, Carol Lynn Villareal (Samuel); Sister, Kimberly Susan Starcher McShan; Nephews, Matthew Wayne Starcher, Jason Allan Starcher, Shawn Muse (Loretta), Samuel Villareal Jr.; Niece, Wendy Lecrone Skiles (Robert); Great Nephews and Great Nieces, Robert Skiles Jr., Levi Garrett Johnson, Ty Evan Johnson, Rheanna Muse, Sheyanne Skiles, Michael Skiles, Audrey Skiles, Amaris Olivia Roebuck, Aubrey Elizabeth Middleton, Kyndole Skiles, Caden Skiles, Cassidy Daniel Renee Starcher; and numerous other friends and family.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 1 to 2 PM at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter, TX.
