Condolences

Condolence From: Donald Harris
Condolence: Roy,
We are halfway through 2022 and a full three years missing you We have survived Covid and thus far, the Biden Administration. We think of you often and love you.

Condolence From: Donald Harris
Condolence: Here we are, Roy. Three full months into 2021 and the same bullcrap applies politically and fundamentally to our lives, day to day. Your children are doing well first off as is Nana. Day to day life continues a la carte. Your grandchildren are doing well too as best I know and your great grandchild, Samson is someone who would certainly bring a smile to your face. He is mischievous but with with a sly grin accompanied by a hidden wit most would not hone upon. Happy (coming) Easter, we love you! We miss your input in every way!

Condolence From: Donald Harris
Condolence: Well, good Sir, it has been a crap-show of a year and we would have had many conversations about how crazy life has been these last several months! Nonetheless, we forge onward and think of you often. All is well given the circumstances and politics. We miss you. We love you and think of you often. See you again one day and look forward to those moments where we laugh together again!!!

Condolence From: Donald Harris
Condolence: Well Good Man,

Your great grandson, Samson ROY Harris was born on April 9th, 2020. Of course your name is his middle to carry on that which was and is good! Lauren, myself and Samson are doing well and although a worldwide "pandemic" is upon us, with a name like Samson and Roy...what could we be worried about? We love you and miss you. Although you are not with us to see him, we know you are watching over and enjoying this all. Until then, Best wishes!

Condolence: Roy,

We have missed you through July 4th, Labor Day, Veteran's Day and now Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving certainly was and is not the same without your laughter and attempts at humor. We speak of you and remember you often and though life is different without you, we carry on nonetheless with thoughts of carrying your torch of love and kindness forward while only hoping we can impact those around us in such a positive way as you did us.

Condolence: My Buddy, Roy...

From the moment I met you and Jackie over five years ago, I knew how sincere and well-meaning you both were. You told me that you wanted to meet the "old man" who was dating his prized possession and whenever you left our house that day, you told me that you liked me. I attributed that statement to a lack of intuition or perhaps an overly positive (and hopeful) outlook on your part. In the coming weeks, months and years, you and Jackie would grace our home on many Sundays and most holidays for some of my good cooking and to simply spend time together. You and I had such a good time talking crap as boys will do and laughing at the girls and sharing stories of hunting, farming, tractors, trapping, food, cars and whatever else we could make a joke or tell a lie or old story about. In this last year, mobility had become a problem for you and so Lauren and I would bring food to your house and then you would blame me for you being "heavy". Of course, the blame was always after you ate. Our serious conversations will always be ours and I am happy we had them. You're no doubt in a much better place now but I do have one regret. On that first day we met, I should have said how much I liked you too.

Until I see you again, your drinking buddy will remember you most fondly.
Love, Donald
