I first met Anelle at Forest Cove Baptist Church around 50 years ago where we were all members. Through the church and participating in church functions together, we soon developed a personal friendship which extended to our husbands. The four of us enjoyed playing Bridge and spent many Friday nights playing Three Table Bridge together. In addition to our mutual appreciation of the card game, Anelle and I shared the same birthday of January 16, 3 years apart. For many years, the four of us would have lunch together on or near January 16 in order to celebrate our birthdays. We would talk and laugh and have so much fun. I remember Anelle as being quiet and having a great sense of humor. Our friendship was a precious gift to me, which I will always treasure.
