Condolence From: Mike Kennedy
Condolence: David's passing saddened my heart. Dave and I started first grade together in Miss Wardell's class at HCS and we graduated together from Milby. I was so glad to be with him at the 50th class reunion. Dave brightened my time there. Dave was always made the day a little bit better through the kindness that he showed to everyone. I miss him a lot. He was a truly a blessing to all who knew and loved him. Thank you Miss Dale for raising such find and wonderful children...

Condolence From: Al Williams
Condolence: David and I worked together for over 15 years. We first met when working for Cameron Controls and then later at Dril-Quip Controls where David joined in the early days of the TOTAL Forvie Project. He was first assigned the design of the fluid distributions system for the Forvie Manifold, a very complex assignment with many moving parts and David spent time in England implementing and testing the installed design. He later went on to become the TOTAL go to engineer at Dril-Quip. David was the most organized engineer I ever worked with. He had all the drawings and data files in 3 ring binders and he knew where everything was as well. His office was a set of book shelves loaded with binders of drawings of all the TOTAL projects we had worked. He was also a master of Excel spreadsheets especially for drawing management and for Hydraulic jumpers and J-plates. I could always rely on David to have the data needed for a trip to Aberdeen, Scotland or to the Great Yarmouth area to meet with TOTAL or a supplier. I was shocked to learn of his passing, a good friend and peer at work. We both retired in 2016 and I hope and pray that these last years have been among the best for David. His family is in my prayers and I know David is with his maker our Lord Jesus the Christ. Rest in peace old friend.
