Life Story for John Thomas Calabaza

John Thomas Calabaza was born in Dallas, Texas on September 7, 1978, to Tommy D. and Esther M. Calabaza. He was a 1996 graduate of South Grand Prairie High School, where he was a member of the South Wind Drum and Bugle Corps, and he earned his Associate Degree from Mountain View College.
John Thomas enjoyed reading Stephen King novels and the daily sports pages. He was a skilled computer technician and liked spending time building and programming computers. He was self-employed as a computer programmer and software developer.
He is survived by his parents Tommy and Esther Calabaza, his two brothers Ryan Blake Calabaza and Taylor Austin Calabaza, as well as numerous nieces and cousins in Arizona and New Mexico. He is predeceased by his grandparents John and Nora McKerry of Dennehotso, Arizona and Mr. Donnie Calabaza of Kewa, New Mexico.
Those who knew John Thomas, even just for a short time, lost a shining light in their lives. John will be missed every day by his father Tommy, his mother Esther and his brothers Ryan and Taylor.
Even though your time with us was short, we are reminded of the times you made us laugh and cry with your wits. Son, we are missing you already. You will forever be in our hearts. Rest peacefully, dear Son.
