Mary Elizabeth ( Marybeth) Scott Schupska of Pasadena, Texas, age 66, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, May 12, 2019. Marybeth passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends.

Marybeth was born on July 6th, 1953 in Pensacola, Florida to parents George Randel Scott and Marian Elizabeth Theis Scott. She moved to Texas, where she went on to graduate from Dobie High School in 1973. She married Paul Michael Schupska on October 7, 2000 in Pasadena, Texas, where they resided together for over 19 years. Although they had no children together, their fur babies were their children. Marybeth had many friends, including those she made during her time of employment at Citibank. She retired from Citibank in October of 2014.
Marybeth enjoyed spending time outdoors camping and fishing. She especially enjoyed time spent on the pier fishing with Bill Schupska, Sr (Papa), whom she loved and thought of as her dad.
She loved the color blue, and her favorite food was chicken and dumplings. She also enjoyed being around family, and eating at the Don'key restaurant (especially with Nellie, whom she loved as a sister).
Although Marybeth had no children of her own, she loved all of her nieces and nephews, and was especially fond of her nephews, Ryan, Scotty, and Tom. She is loved dearly, and will be missed by many.

A celebration of life will be held in the future, with details to be announced at a later date.

Marybeth is preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by her husband, Paul Michael Schupska; her sister, Carol Ann Scott (Newcome) and brother-in-law Tom Newcome; her nephews, Ryan Newcome, Scott Newcome, and Tom Newcome. Marybeth would certainly want us to make mention of their fur babies, Patches, Scooby-Doo, Sheba, and Tandy, as they were all loved by her.
