Sara Jane Kirchner, 67, a.k.a. "Mama Bear," of Porter, TX passed away on June 11, 2019. She was born in Clairton, Pennsylvania on February 2, 1953 to Edward and Evelyn McGowan.

She enjoyed her friends, her sewing, her quilting, and her family.

She is preceded in death by her father, Edward McGowan; father-in-law, Clarence Kirchner, and mother-in-law, Marcy Kirchner.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Sonny Kirchner; her son, Jason Kirchner and his wife Melissa; daughter Lisa Kirchner; her grandchildren, Chase and Lila Kirchner; mother, Evelyn McGowan; sister, Michele Jones and her husband Bob; brother, Raymond McGowan and wife Marilyn; brother, Charles McGowan; and numerous other family and friends.

A Visitation Service will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter, TX on Friday, June 21, 2019, to be followed immediately by a Memorial Service at 2 p.m.
