Obituary for Gregory Louis Sanders

Gregory Louis Sanders was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana to Herbert and Ann Sanders on April 4, 1948. At the age of 71, he died on Thursday May 23rd, 2019 at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Greg served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1967-1972 while attending Louisiana State University. He had a long and successful career in the oil and gas industry where he worked as an engineer in 5 different countries and retired in 2015 where he resided with his wife in Humble. He was a man of many hobbies such as antiquing, gardening, cooking, wine making, traveling, golfing and general tinkering,
Greg is survived by his wife Carolyn G. Sanders, his daughter Tammy M. (Walt) Muller of Biloxi, MS, son Jeffrey L. Sanders (Jabneel) of St. Louis, MO, along with five grandchildren; Madison, Alessandra, Beaux, Brayden, Mollie. He is survived by his niece and honorary daughter, Tina Whitehead (Marc) and their four daughters Emma, Madelyn, Elizabeth and Sarah. He is survived by his younger brothers Donnie (Susie) of Baton Rouge and Rodney (Donnis) of Slidell and his three nephews and one niece; Jason, Michael, Adrienne, Jeremy. He is survived by his mother Ann L. Sanders (Baton Rouge, La). Greg was preceded in death by his father, Herbert L. Sanders.
Family and friends are welcome to attend his celebration of life on Tuesday May 28th, 2019 at 10:00, guests are welcome to arrive at 9:00 at Rosewood Funeral Home, 22271 US 59, Porter, TX 77357.
