Obituary for Sidney Tom Price

SIDNEY TOM PRICE

4/11/1928 - 5/13/2019

Sidney and I grew up together. He was my playmate, my friend, my lover. He was my husband, father of 4 kids, provider, my rock, helper, companion, comforter. My life was richer because of him. How fortunate I
was to have him as my soulmate (almost 70 years, August 5, 1949). He was a wonderful father, took the kids wherever he went or he didn't go. He worked for Reed Tool/Roller Bit for almost 50 years. At church he
gave hugs generously. He worked for the food pantry for many years and was known as the "Can Man" for his recycling expertise. He supported me as I became involved in United Methodist Women and was honored as "Mr. U M W" for his service to the work. He supported me as I learned, played and taught Mountain Dulcimer. He was known as "the Copy Man" for his assistance at festivals and
workshops. Sidney is survived by his wife of 69 years Nancy, daughter Netta Anne & husband Byron Rodenburg Sr, sons Sidney Tom Price Jr & wife Debra, Timothy Paul Price & wife Terri and Terry Allen Price,10 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren, 3 nephews along with numerous other relatives and loving friends. He is proceeded in death by his grandson Timothy P. Price Jr and great grandson Lucas Benefield.

I am eternally grateful for his love and care and for the life we had together.

Rest in peace.
I Love You,
Nancy
