Obituary for Norma Jo Salvato (Eddings)

Norma Jo (Eddings) Salvato joined God and her parents in heaven on May 4th 2019. Born to Marion and Rubie Eddings on April 23rd 1940 and the oldest of three children, Norma spent the first years of her life playing in and around Nacogdoches, Texas where she was born. The family eventually moved to Houston where Norma spent the rest of her life working, raising her three sons and eventually finding the love of her life in Vence. Norma was always quick with a funny line and loved to laugh throughout her life. To her three sons, Allen, Loren and Michael, what made her the perfect Mother wasn’t that she was perfect, but that her entire life she always tried to be as perfect for them as she could. She was, and is, a role model for them and they were blessed to share her sense of adventure. Norma is survived by her beloved Vence, her three “boys”, her brothers Eddie and Robert, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will miss her, but we will all, always remember her. She’s “kicking” higher than ever now.
