Obituary for Judahand Vistula Young (Sampson)

Judahand V. Young or some might call her Judy, Judiana or daughter was a loving soul. We will love to share some things about her that you might not know. She was born in 1945 in Lowmans village St Vincent. She is the oldest of nine siblings 5 brother and 2 sisters. She is the mother of 3 sons and 6 daughters, a wife to Denniston Young for over 45 years, and a grandmother with over 15 grandkids. Even with all this family Judy made time to become a foster parent for many years for 30 plus children. She had so much love to give. One thing about Judy is that she was a very selfless woman. One of our uncles even said that Judy was like a second mom to him while growing up. Judy made sure that all her kids went to church while growing up setting a solid foundation for them to choose right from wrong. When we were in church misbehaving, she will give us the eye and fist and we knew exactly what she meant. Our mother was and still is highly respected by all her children and many others. She loved and will continue to love everyone unconditionally. She made sure that her kids could take care of their business once grown enough to leave from her covering. Judy was the type of wife that will do what it takes as a help meet and help her husband hold it down. I remember mom doing grocery growing up and giving half to the neighbor. She was that loving and caring. When she smiles it will just draw you in. Our mom showed what it’s like to live a life with the love of God in her heart. She would never complain about anything. She made sure that we ate a good meal every day and took good care of our dad. If she was here right now, she would just smile at you. So just smile for her.
