Obituary for Dolores Ann Hanrath (Dreyer)

Dolores Ann Hanrath (nee Dreyer), age 96, of Humble, Texas and formerly of Libertyville Illinois, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. Dolores was born on March 18, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois to Felix and Marie (nee Bungert) Dreyer.
Loving mother of Paul Hanrath, Mark Hanrath, Richard (Linda) Hanrath, James Hanrath, Kenneth Hanrath, Marianne (Richard) Verkler and Cynthia (James) Lindsay. Proud grandmother of David (Amanda), Sarah, Lauren, Emily, Andrew (Kirsten) and Eric Hanrath, Christa (Michael) Essany, Rachel (Aaron) Aguilar, Jonathan, Ann and Kevin Verkler, and William, James and Paige Lindsay. Devoted great grandmother to Gianna and Isabella Essany. Cherished sister of Bernadette Simpson. Fond aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hanrath, and her brothers Robert and John Dreyer.
Dolores resided in Chicago until moving to Libertyville in 1956. She graduated from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in 1944 and practiced nursing for more than 45 years. Dolores spent her later years traveling the world with her husband Henry and many friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Rosewood Funeral Home, Humble, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Rosewood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery, gate time 1:00 pm.
