Condolence: I knew Al was a test director in SESL, but we never worked together at NASA. However. I did know Al well in the Johnson Space Center Golf Association. He was not only one of our better players, but his happy, enthusiastic, and cheerful personality endeared him to all of us. My favorite memory is post-tournament at Newport Country Club when we all retired to the bar for drinks and stories about that day’s play. They had a piano in there and Al entertained us with some great boogie-woogie. He had that piano hopping.

My condolences to his family. Rest in peace, Al, but with happy music.
