Life Story for William Milton Warren

William (Bill) M. Warren, 85, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather,
passed way Saturday April 6, 2019, in Huffman, TX. He was born in College Station, TX, son
of Mary E. and George B. Warren. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1951. He served
during the Korean War as a Boatswain’s Mate. When he came home from the Navy he was
employed as a maintenance mechanic. He was a Christian man that was devoted to his
family. He had a quick-witted sense of humor and loved to laugh. Bill found pleasure in
reading and studying history, especially his family genealogy. Some of his hobbies
included photography, and hunting. He truly enjoyed the great outdoors. He married the
love of his life Ida Faye Reader in1958 and together they raised five children.
William leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Faye Warren. And his five children, William M.
Warren, Jr. and his wife Becky, Grace E. Atwood and her husband Alan, James C. Warren
and his wife Shasta, Timothy S. Warren and his wife Nancy, Andrea E. Smith and her
husband Scott; eight grandchildren, Heather, Courtney and her husband Calvin Cassell,
Ashley and her husband Taryl Durant, Rachael and her husband David Dooley, Timothy,
Aaron, James, and Jacob; eight great grandchildren, C.J., Carley, Caleb, Chase, Rylee, Allie,
Connor, and Cooper; and many nieces and nephews. Bill also leaves behind his twin
brother Jesse Marsh Warren and his wife Jeanette, his sister Betty Whitehead, Sister in
Laws Carol Warren and Barbara Warren.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents George B. Warren and Mary Ellen Warren. His
siblings, George D. Warren, John C. Warren, Minnie Lou Hodges, and Bob D. Warren.
He will be missed dearly by his wife, children, family, and friends.
